Between

Never say always; it’s almost never true.
Never say never; that’s trouble too.

In between the ends, I hear its best to stay.
Eight endless steps carve out a middle way.

Words don’t suffice, yet they’re all we have.
The trick is knowing that you are on the path.

Sometimes say always if that makes sense,
and always say never when it doesn’t depend.
