Glimmering green gems gyre above;
verdant veins vivisecting verges into them.
Welled with water and wrapped into the world,
wavelengths of wind and light pass through.
Ergo these emeralds, every element evolves.
Supine, staring up at stem and scale,
a subtle sultriness surrounds
and I too am transformed through the tree.
Paper emeralds turn over head; veins drawing their facets’ straight edges.
Water filled and earth bound, the sun and wind push through them. These verdant gems transform base elements into a richer atmosphere. Filtering through branches, a subtle warmth washes over my brow and wows me, and I too am transformed.
